Went to implement dealer today to pick up an order. Sign on door said "We don't wear masks and don't ask you to". That fat dumba$$ in Chi town declares we start wearing masks May 1.

Sloan Implement, a 20+ location John Deere dealer, has been keeping the doors locked for weeks. Customers can't come inside. In my case the service manager came outside to talk to me & wrote up the service order on the front porch. If you want parts, call ahead, & the parts will be on the front porch when you get there. The local elevator is part of a 3 county cooperative affiliated with Growmark. Can't go inside there, either. They prefer everyone call ahead but will deal with customers through a locked door. Paperwork is slid between the double doors. Manager at the elevator explained to me that if any of their employees tests positive for COVID-19 they have to close the facility for two weeks and all employees have to quarantine at home for two weeks. In peak farming season that would be devastating for farmers and the company. This is over regulated Illinois.

What the hell are you crying for you for because you can't go in and get free coffee? Sloan's are just looking out for their employees. There is no problem getting parts from them or service. Go buy some Kleenex or I can bring some to your house!!!

The problem in ILLINOIS is the Governor is in CHITCAGO... THEY have a problem... maybe 30,000+ cases and quite a few deaths... Down state we DONT have a problem.  County i am in had 1 case... already done... Counties around us have 1-5 cases... We go to Wal Mart with a mask.... 50 people inside... Go to the Farm Store--- dozen people inside.. Go to convenience / gas station ... 5-6 people inside... Dont seem to be a problem to wear a mask and dont stand on someones shoes.... It seems to work OK in down state ILLINOIS........ I see about 30 states are taking it further and starting to open up.. with  masks and THINKING.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

County I am at in MN had 4 cases for a long time and now in the last 2 days it ballooned to 17. One case right across the street from where I work, another at the place where my wife works. It can change quickly. Don't get too comfy with no cases. All it takes is one idiot to spread it around. I don't see anybody rushing out saying please give it to me.....

JD I'm in Hennepin County and have been tracking total State and Hennepin's daily new cases, and have noticed that it is starting to rapidly increase in the Outer Counties and slightly slowing  in Hennepin. We'll see how this plays out. Stay safe everyone.

I agree with AllisFreak MN.  All it takes is one idiot.  I get my prescriptions at Wal-Mart - no other choice in this town.  I try to get there early & in line at the pharmacy counter when the pharmacy opens.  I get my meds & I get the heck out, hopefully before the "less careful" people show up.  Wal-Mart is a scary place in the middle of the day.  Most people are doing what they should, it's just the minority that scare me.  As you said:  "All it takes is one idiot."

i have been home going on almost 3 months now. did go to town 2 times, both times wore a mask or stayed in my burb and did business thru the window. i also kept my sanitizer handy and used it when needed. my immune system is about nil and i really don't wanna chance it, it only takes once and you don't get any warnings. i wanna stay around awhile longer to torment ya'll yet!

I'm taking no chances, at 87 with COPD, if i get it, it's a death warrant. I have had no contact with anyone since march 20th. I am getting a little cabin fever, but considering the consequences it's not to bad. I just hope to live long enough to see the end.
