Saw a CA on propane this past Friday.  A friend of mine traded a 1938 Oliver 70 for a 1976 1 ton Chevy with farm bed that was  on propane plus a nice little grain drill.  Couldn't haul both so I took my truck & trailer along & hauled the grain drill back.  The couple also have a CA on propane.  Wife's father had the truck, the CA, & an IH 240 - all on propane.  The CA was in a shed with an IH M, also on propane, on one side & a truck on the other side plus various accumulation in the shed so I couldn't get a good look without rearranging the couple's shed.  They are working on the IH 240 now and plan to restore the CA, too.  I'll try to stay in contact & get back there when they have the CA out & take some pics.

I was looking into doing my CA puller on propane awhile back. Propane is 105 octane and lots cheaper than 110 octane racing gas.  That would have allowed more compression than 92 pump gas.  Then E85 became popular, it's also 105 octane and cheap, it only needs a bit of jet drilling to get enough flow to make it work. Never the less, I'd like to know more about the CA propane conversion and see some pictures.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
