Hello, would anyone on here have the engine rebuild specs on a series 2 ? It’s the Buda engine I’m needing it for, bearing clearance, piston clearance, installed height in bore ( deck height) torque specs and etc. have one here I’m transferring everything from a D10 block that’s busted to a D14. Owner doesn’t want to buy anything that’s reusable. Thanks

The BUDA engine used in the D15 was a diesel. The gas engine used in the D10 through D15 tractors is completely different from the Diesel. The D15 Diesel (Buda) shares many parts with the D17 & D19 diesel engines.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

The block from 10-15 are the same from what I can see and find when searching for rebuild kits, all the sleeves and-piston kit are listed for D-10-D-15 (early). I can send pictures but honestly the block looks exactly the same,if someone has the information on these it should confirm or deny it.

physically there are no differences in the block, the cylinder head is also interchangeable, engine sleeve and piston kits are listed for d-10 to d-15(early)I’m only saying what I can see and read. This is why I’m asking for help

I would say the blocks probably are interchangeable except for the Series 2 D-15, which has a bigger diameter sleeve and full-flow oiling system.

You say "It's the BUDA engine".
Is it a Diesel or GAS?
What do you really have, you barking into the wind until you're sure.
Only the D15 Diesel was the BUDA engine
All the gas engines (D10, D12, D14, D15 seriesI & D15 series II) were "West Allis" engines and are physically interchangable. For the 160CID D15 series II engine had larger OD sleeves, different rods and larger head bolts. The sleeves will interchange between all the others.
Best you post a picture so we can answer your question correctly. The Diesel (BUDA) is a completely different engine than the GAS (West Allis).

The manifold is slimmed down on the D10/D12, resulting in sheet metal alignment problem between D10/D12 and D14/15.

My apologies Dr. you are in direction I was sent. As far as pictures Paul the question is and still remains, does anyone here have the engine rebuilding specifications for a D 10 Series 2? Pictures aside, that is what I have Buda or not, as fas as up loading pictures I have tried but apparently it’s above my pay grade.
