Found a motorcrarft aternator in my Allis parts. I know it worked before. Looks like the wiring is kind of complicated. Any one ever dealt with one of these? Thannks

Got a pic? The old ones actually weren't to bad. They were externally regulated.

I did my WD, my WD-45 and my brother's WD using Ford Alternators.
Even used the infamous "pink wire" as the coil resistor.
I parted out a whole bunch of Falcons over the years so I had the stuff.
Simply follow the Ford wiring diagram.

Probably easier to use the GM "one-wire" alternator but it was a lot cheaper for me to
"use what I had".
