Series B machines came out 50 years ago, more or less. Allis ran a cool series of ads in the early '70s to promote these machines.

great pic and story Trev. Wasn,t many 16-B come to NZ. But were alot of HD16DC sold here and later the DP. People loved them as a logging tractor. Better than a D7 17A and more nimble than a D7E ------------- tits tyres and tracks they all cost you money |

| That demo sure looks like a road job done south of a town in our county. It was done by a company with all Allis equipment. They had on the job a 41 that everyone talked about and were amazed at what it could do. |

| Almost all of Merten's machines were Allis. They did a great deal of work all around central MO with those machines. Cooke Sales sold a great deal to them and the State for Fire control machines too. |
