Nice! So that's an early 220, is the emblem in the grill in the correct position?

Does yours have the small squares on the platform tinwork? I have the 10th one, #1014, and it does have that platform. Would anyone know when this got changed to the newer style? One side of this platform has suffered gas ax disease, so would be interested in one of those if someone has one they'd part with. I believe I need the left side as sitting in the seat.

Congratulations I’m a little jealous 🤢🤢🤢 a 220 is 2nd on my want list right behind my holy grail a D-21. I’ve got an XT I got the same deal you did. Paid too much, my family didn’t go naked, cold or hungry and I wanted it more so than I needed it. So I understand your deal perfectly. You’ll enjoy the tractor more and more as work progresses then Bam you’ll be Proud when it’s done. Lucky man, Enjoy

I'm very happy for you, Michael!  I remember the first time I sat on one at Dad's dealership, "this sure isn't a One-Ninety"!  So much more of a brute and was brawny.
Congratulations!

I love mine! When I got the 8070 my wife ask if I was selling the 220. I couldn't believe she said that. I ask what was I to do if the BIG tractor laid down? The WD45 won't pull the tools.....

the plan is,, to have this 'presentable' for 2021 GOTO at Hutch, but that may be tough,,, I'm finding more stuff that this was just "patched up" to get the task at hand done,,or 'rode hard and put up wet'...  but as I said before, its got good bones.
I'm hopin that a fuel system (pump and Injectors) trip to Ed will help hard starting and engine miss problems,,, but more I look,, I think major heart surgery is going to be needed...

Luke, I sent a PM
DCAC, yes it does have the squares on the platform

I'll try and remember to get ya'll pictures as I go,,, but don't expect as much as sugarmaker did on his '45....

1st question,,, what happened to #'s 1001-1003? IIRC #1004 is the NE test tractor,, this makes this one #21...was told the first one sold in KS...

Michael...if'n you need a place to store it...(running of course)...you can store it here, it's closer to Hutch than your place!

If you bring it to Hutchinson, I will take your picture sitting atop that big horse.

Better yet, you wear a cowboy hat and boots, how about a picture of you half leaning, half sitting on the left front tire with a bull whip over your shoulder like the man on page 115 in Norm's book. I love the old dealer lit pictures. Congratulations to you on bringing a 220 home.

I would love to see the 220 at the show, but how are you going to find the time to visit with all your buddies when you are driving that tractor?

answers and comments for y'all misfits,,,,,,,
Tim NH, yea, its got inside weights, but their not the really big ones like my 7060 has, I'm guessing about 300-350#

shameless,, its MY new toy and I'm gonna play with it!!

Tim,Unit 3, I'll see if I can 'strike a pose' for ya, although the tractor prolly will not be as pretty as the one in the picture...

Pat, that's sounds like a deal to me, since I'm bringing a big tractor, might as well bring the 7060 to keep it company,,, oh yea, the AC works on the 7060,, that be nice for the Friday evening tractor drive,,,

Lon,, while Ted and Creston are figuring out how to get it unstuck,, I figure I can visit with buddies then...and might even flirt with the gals some...
