there is a 1970s Schramm S-160 Pneumatractor at our threshing show this weekend which the owner is trying to sell. It has a six-cylinder engine where three cylinders are the combustion chambers and the other three are compressor pistons which pump into a large tank just in front of the cab. It runs good but needs restoration. Has anyone ever seen one of these or have any info on them? I'm trying to decide if such a project would be too unique to get into.

Fordair 60 good workhorse engine/compressor combo. A cement contractor I worked for in my youth used that compressor setup to run jackhammers (and to run me!)

our local sycamore threshing bee has a 4 cylinder wisconsin schramm compressor which i have messed with a little bit. I tracked down an old fella in texas who worked for schramm and he also has some old dealer parts. His name is Frank Mcbride # 817-370-2039. He is very willing to talk about these units. Remeber hes older and i havent spoke with him in a year or 2. good luck.

There is a thread on YT discussion today from a guy with one.  When I saw the title, I thought it was you, but it is someone different.  Might want to contact him?
