The manual folding gang extensions on my 2300 A/C Disc seem to be getting heavier than they were 20 years ago.    I've seen a couple of these discs in my life with Hyd. lift on them.   Has anyone out there ever converted one?  And does any one know where a set of them could be bought?    Do they flex or do they lock down like the manual gang extensions, etc.     Sometimes wish the ole girl was a little heavier but all in all it is a pretty good finishing disk.    Also would like to know if there are any other differences in the 2200 & 2300 other than bearings and bearing mount heights?     Can't see any others from where I stand.   Our old 2200 came with 18" blades and the 2300 came with 20" blades!      Thanks,    Housemover

My Dad bought a new 2300 back in 74,he converted it to hyd. wing fold. They locked down rigid just as the manual fold wings do. You might just look for another 2300 disk with the hyd. wing fold option. Good Luck, Mike

Thanks Mike,     That was my 1st thought too.  Been keeping  my eyes open for one with wore down teeth.    Can't bring myself to salvage parts off of a good disk!    The 3 that I found out there were in really good shape.

I have one I converted years ago. Made 2 discs into one basically. A lot of parts are different from one another. It's a 17 foot. I would sell it if interested. Looks like I'm a way from you however. (Northern Indiana)

Hey  there acnh 210;    Wouldn't mind a picture of the disk, & price but I've done crazier things.   Google says it's about 680 miles from here to there.    Also I suppose we should wait to travel till the  Cov-19 virus settles down a bit.   Anyway thanks  for the heads up P/M me or email @ mailto:leon@ballandson.com" rel="nofollow - leon@ballandson.com   if you'd rather.
