Recent thread about old AC equipment got me thinking. Anyone know anything about the AC one row pickers? There's one not very far away from me and I was wondering if the size would be such as to be able to haul one one on a trailer. Might be a fun piece to have if the price is right and I can haul it.

You can haul it, might be a little wide but still farm machinery. Have to lift it on and off. wheels will hang over one side anyway. Fred

That one row would be awesome to save and to own. FWIW, I think we'll see the value of implements appreciate tremendously in the future.

Darrell, I took mine to our fall show in 2007. I pulled it behind the pickup though cause it was only 30 miles. When I bought it we took the elevator off and loaded it backwards on my car hauler with blocks cribbing it up. Then put the elevator on back along side the drawbar. It's too wide for a car hauler but if you have a deck over trailer you might be able to haul it easier. Charlie

Last I knew here in Michigan you can tow over width farm equipment, but if you haul it on a trailer or truck and are over width, you can get a ticket.

hauled mine on my car hauler but it hung over the sides. watch so you don't bend the pully if you haul it that way.

just loaded one onto a goose neck we took the elevator off and layed it next to it Gary

I bought mine at an auction several years ago, hauled it on an 8 foot wide trailer with a little to spare if I remember. I had a 30 foot long trailer so I did not take the elevator off.
