What causes the driver hubs on the wheel of these belt driven rakes to break?  I looked at a few different rakes and they have been broken on a lot of them...I recently bought my dad's old rake back and that one has one wheel broken also...the only thing I could think of is the drive clutch slamming into gear while at high speed...just wondering if it has happen to anybody here while they were using one of these rakes...looking to fix this one and I want to try to avoid it happening in the future if I can...thanks in advance

My neighbor has one that must have started slipping out of gear. He put a hose clamp on it many Moons ago, to keep it in gear, and just derails the belt to transport it.
I've tried to get him to let me fix it, but the last time I looked at it, there is nothing left of the shift mechanism. The cables and cranks for setting the height are also cobbed up. Cry
