Hello,

Got an AC D17 Series 3. I m looking down under the "passenger" side where the traction booster adjustment block is and I see oil leaking. I ve attached pictures for reference (the second one isn t mine it s just for illustration). Is there supposed to be a plug in this hole? What size if so? Thank you!

Not sure what goes there, but judging from the bottom picture, you definitely do not have a Series 3.  Late 50s Series 1.  If you search the ACGO parts book website, you can get a closeup picture of that area and what each part is.

Ya, the second picture isn’t mine. I just grabbed a picture off the web to illustrate where the zoomed in picture came from. Mine is a Series 3.

I'd say yes....looks like maybe the hydraulic pump 'sump' drain plug  though I can't find a good picture of it in my D-14 books

That looks like my answer. Thanks! It’s hard to tell in the parts book but I think that’s the one.

This looks like a press-in plug, not threaded. Is that right?
