Having a little trouble breaking this one down, I'm not sure what the format is supposed to be and the sticker on the frame rail is worn off. What year of unit do I have? And which numbers are the serial? I thought it should be four numbers. Pic attached...I hope.

Ok thanks, I was thinking mid 83 too but wondered why it would say 84 then, or 84 at all since it should be four digits.

Has the look of a 'last one on a Friday' job by the numbers' stamper

After seeing your number I had to check mine out. It has a F between 8030 and the serial number but no other numbers. The F probably means power director tractor

I thought F meant front wheel assist

Appreciate all the replies! Yes she's a Power Shift and Front Assist.

So what I think it probably is now is a mid 83, but an 84 model year..?, Wanted to differentiate that for some reason by adding the '84' at the end.
