pull with Series III 190xt so there it's on topic. :-) Anyway, what's the easiest way to remove the pickup? The teeth bars have worn through where the end plate supports them and one broke. Doesn't look like any easy way to remove them. Pulled the set screw under the chamber for the pickup drive shaft. Do you remove the sprocket on the left hand side and pull the whole pickup to the right? Is there another way that I don't see? I think I could have designed the thing better than they did. Surely wasn't Gleaner engineers. Thanks.

Don't have the answer but they are a great baler. Spent many hours on a WD45 pulling that baler & a wagon behind. WD45 did a great job & was small enough that it didn't have the wheel on the windrow. Later used a (bad word) MF165 diesel but the WD I thought worked better. 190 might be overkill.

190 is overkill but it nearly runs on thin air and my wife will drive it where she won't drive my WD or D17.

Lonn, I just did that to a NH273 and it was an interesting experience. The best thing I can tell you is to go to the following site.

Go into the Parts & Service tab and Search for Parts. When the bland window comes up, put your model in the window and search. Select your baler out of the list and choose the + in front of the Figure listing and you will see the same parts manual the dealer looks at. Scroll down to the Pickup Group and you will see everything about your baler.

I had to use a gear puller to get apart the one I was working on.
