Looks like a pretty fair field of alfalfa also. Yes, that is one of the things that always gave me pleasure, mowing with WC and side mounted sicklebar mower, but raking was pure heaven. Nothing beats the smell.

Since I have not seen or sold that type of mower can someone tell me about it?
Looks like a rotary.  Does it do a good job on the hay.
Looks sooo much better than a sickle bar mower.  Can't be all that much maintenance.

Bill, I have a friend that has a Gail that is similar it has several rotary heads with two blades each  his has crimping rolls behind the cutting heads it seems to mow real nice and will mow as fast as the operator can stay in the tractor seat , i sure some of the other guys are more knowledgeable of discbines than i am  Kev

Hey Bill, I'm running a 1345 Hesston just like this one only newer.If you ran one of these you'd never run a sickle again,unless it's just for fun on an old AC. It takes about 15 minutes to change all the knives, and can mow about 15 acres an hour. Takes alot of horse though.
