bought a 200 for a spare tractor. Having a few issues and this is the first allis I have ever owned. Tractor had a loader on it not hooked up, so i installed missing hoses and hooked it to rear remotes and loader goes up jerking with no load but wont hardly lift a round roll. Have repaired cylinders. What do I check next?

It sounds like you have air in the hydraulic system. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level?

yes fluid level is showing full

Are you running an auxiliary valve stack off the tractor remote, or are the tractor remotes running the loader directly? Darrel

I'm not saying this is the problem, but you wouldn't be the first to not realize that there are two oil fills and dipsticks in the floor by your feet. One takes a half twist to remove and that is the oil fill level for the rear end and transmission. The other one is right there too, but it looks like a large nut and it screws out of the housing. That one is for the hydraulic system and intermediate gears. Both use the same kind of oil. If it's really low on oil, then your steering should be jerky too.

1. put a load on the three point hitch arms - operate up and down - do THEY hesitate and jerk (this is know as cavitation - the ingestion of air into the hyd flow due to low oil level , leaky supply suction connections , plugged screen in the sump or leaky seal at pump drive shaft or possible oil contaminated with water. There could be a blown section in the pump allowing recirculation within the pump and low pressure. These could be the items that need repair. IF the arms lift smoothly and the power steering is smooth, the tractor is fine.

2. IF all above check out - you have crossed lines on the loader or hydraulic tips that are not passing oil thru under pressure. Hook a disc or other implement and see if it raises correctly.
