How is the crankshaft end play adjusted on a BE116 engine? Thanks, Tim

Moving the crankshaft gear in. This is done by grinding the stop back. You need to make sure the inside edge of the main journal is smooth or it will eat up the flange of the thrust shell.

Can the crankshaft gear be removed with a puller or does it press off?

It will come off with a puller.
