I recently bought a D-19 with worn lift arm-rock shaft splines. Because mine are so worn they are nothing to remove however, I just spoke with a guy who said it is almost impossible to separate them when the splines are good. Is this the case? Seems like some soaking and heat and most anything comes apart.
Doesn't the rock shaft just slide out of the housing?

I spent quite a while with a torch, a press, and a big hammer trying to move the arms off of a WD rock shaft, and never got them to budge.

Seems like D19s dont get as tight as WDs. They are loose on both my D19s, but not worn real badly in the splines. Yes, the splined shaft slides out of the housing when one of the arms is removed. HTH
