working on replacing an injection pump on 6140 with the toyosha 3 cylinder, whats the correct timing? and any tips on removal and installation of pump? thanks

I believe those have a Japanese built version (Mikuni) of a CAV DPA pump, and I think it's keyed on the gear, and the housing has a chisel mark on the flange. I'd think the shop you're having rebuild it could offer you tech assistance in timing it. Just make sure you make note of gear marks.

I'll try later to get the info from my shop manual. Very good reproduction manual, got it off eBay if I recall. It'd do you a world of good.
