So sorry to hear this, Joe.  A good dog is always a very important part of a family and often easier to love than some kids!  I'm sure ol Hungry had a very good life with you and it's painful when this happens.  I'm sure oll' Hungry is searching out a suitable replacement for you a little further down the road.

Yea Joe, that sorta bites... losing your companion of the 4 padded kind. I sure miss my last two yet, Roxxie and Tippy specially late at night when I go do stuff or check on the moos... or what evers... When I got to engrossed in a project too long, Tippie would come over and make me take a break, usually sticking her nose in my face and START LICKING... and I would have to just hug the mutt and pet her... and then Roxxie would have to join in. LOL
May you find a replacement that loves ol' Shameless's picture as much as Hungry did... and loves you too. Take care there my friend an Sympathies to the both of you..

I too am sorry to hear about your family member and my friend passing! I don't know how i'll be able to sneak in your place now...without him helping me! I know it's to soon, but if you have the inkling...there will be another "buddy" at a local shelter that needs the love you and Joyce can give it!

Joe, sorry to hear of the loss of your good buddy and faithful companion. They are part of the family. As Shameless has already said - hope you can find you another one that you can give lots of love to.

Well,,,,My Many Friends,,,many THANKS for all the heartfelt concerns, it means so much to me,!! Wouldn't you know it,,,the dang D14 almost refused to start yesterday morning,, Finally run the battery down and had to wait for it to charge up and try her again and after two charge ups of the battery,,it finally started and blew black smoke for some time before it took off and we got to work. Tuff to bury your friend in such cold azzed gloomy windy weather tho.
I followed the same advise I been givin all of ya'll who been losing your friends and went by the local Humane Society, but they did not have a latge breed like I want, so spent most of the day calling all the kennels in surrounding towns except the one in the Alien town which was closed, so I'm headed that way in a bit. My Sons in Dallas and El Paso are also lookin for me.
  Thanks again, Guys,,,
Oh,,,and Shameless,,,I hope you don't mind, but I did put his favorite picture in there with him, he will rest easy now,,,,,Clap

So sorry JoeCry  That's ruff  (boo! hiss!).  Seriously, very sorry,  had to put our Max down this summer, couldn't tell you the last time I cried that hard.  Well, actually it was probably 12 years ago when we had to put Rufus down.  So very hard to do and cope with.  Prayers for you and the missus.
