I haven't posted in a while but I'm always checking in. Thought I had to share this one.
My 19 year old son called me bout 4 this afternoon after he got off work and asked if there was anything he could do to help out with harvest. I said the 7020 and stalk chopper is ready if he'd like to chop some stalks. He said sure and hung up, didn't get a chance to tell him what gear I've been running in but figured he'd remember from last year. So later on, I thought I'd let him know there's no need to run after dark due to the terraces. I pulled up and waited for him to get to the end, I thought, well it looks good, doing a good job. Then I notice his girlfriend in the cab with him and thought there's not enough room for 2 people in the cab of a 70xx.....there's barely enough room for me. Once again, I'm wrong. He jumps out and I asked if she's ok in there, he says, Oh yea, plenty of room.
He's 6'7, thin as a rail and she's a little bitty thing but willing to spend a Friday evening in 40 year old tractor with a guy she enjoys being with.
    Good kids. Good kids.

My wife used to ride with me too. Then we got married and she hasn’t been in a tractor or combine since. But she doesn’t say Much when I’m running so I can’t complain
