Saw this on tractorhouse tonight, Golden Harvest Edition Gleaner L2. Never seen this before, were these a special order?

Golden Harvest is a seed corn company in the midwest.  I wonder if it's something they had done somehow.

As I understand it - The 1982 golden harvest edition marked the advent of Gleaner’s 60th year anniversary 1983.

The series 2 combines (F2,M2,L2,N5,N6,N7) closed with a the golden harvest year (1978)but received a new tan cab interior (previously black)which became standard on the new series 3 models (F3,M3,L3,N5,N6,N7) opened the 60th Anniversary(1983).

Also, (quoted from CHWendel’s “The Allis-Chalners Story. - “The Golden Harvest Edition, This designation carried a special exterior cab paint scheme and a “Golden Harvest” decal. Also featured was a special steering wheel cap and sport steering wheel, and a solid brass ID plaque engraved with the buyers name and a special serial number. The “Golden Harvest models were supplied with an extended warranty over and above the standard two-year engine warranty.”
