We started out today and dodged most of the heavy rain in SE South Dakota this morning. I believe we had 28 tractors that left Madison, SD and tonight they are all resting and waiting to leave from Hills, MN in the morning. These are some pictures of our crew and I have posted some here http://home.comcast.net/~snowfam/ourgang.pdf - http://home.comcast.net/~snowfam/ourgang.pdf

Jim, the following link is to the power point picture show I had put together to show at the banquet last Saturday night. They couldn't come up with a projector and the evening got late. So I have put this on the web for all to enjoy. Dale, Mike and their families did such a great job with this caravan and kept it all FUN. Enjoy till the next ride. snowman(MI)

Got to ask, what mph do you travel at?

Probably in the range of 10.5 to 11.5 mph.

That is faster than I would have thought. I don't think my D10 would like that. :-) Hey do you spend any time in the Vestal Inn?

WD's, CA's and D-10's should easily be able to maintain those speeds. I have a D-10 Series III that will do almost 18 mph. I drive by the Vestal but it has been many years since I've been into the local Belmont watering hole.

John, did you see the link to the pictures of the caravan ride that was completed last week? We didn't get wet with all the rain that happened in Iowa last week.

I guess time does fly. Last time I was in the Vestal was 1981. Then I moved to Arizona. My brother still lives in Belmont, but I just drive by all watering holes now.

Paula,
I will leave it up on my web site so this winter when it is extremely cold, you and the gang can remember how hot and humid it was in August during the ride.
