Googled Otter lake on the west side of town, DNR says no shore fishing access. A local chat forum says the lake suffered winter kill. Might have to locate a lake away from there for some fishing. Silver lake east on 7 offers shore fishing with a fishing pier. Might be a good place to take him for a morning or afternoon.
