I was moving wagons from farm to home and pulled out on the road empty, opened up the throttle and like a light switch lost all hydraulics, ended up in the ditch and took out my own fire marker in the process just thankful it wasn't with 240bu of corn. The tractor was working perfectly fine for the hour or so intel then. I have lost steering before and that was a piece of gunk in the splitter valve on the back of the hydraulic pump checked there, no change also no new or missing noises. any help would be much appreciated. its my main tractor and moneys very tight right now

Splines are worn out on gear that drives hydraulic pump.       MACK

I took the pump apart today and found that the 4 brass plates are chewed up bad, gears are shot, shafts are wore bad. also the housings look good. Now I am wondering if I can replace the bairngs in the pump or are they a non serviceable part of the pump?

Time you buy all the parts, you'd be ahead to buy new pump. Shouldn't need another one in your life time. Get used at salvage? What's it going to be like?

If bearings are shot, I'm sure the steel housings are shot. Run your finger around top and bottom where gears run. If they are shot, you might cut your finger. Be careful.       MACK
