Manual calls for straight 30 wt and says not to use multi grade oil. Will 15-40 Rotella work |

I can't imagine how an engine would know it had multi weight oil in it.......... 15-40 is an EXCELLENT diesel motor oil. 15 will get easy starts and fast oil pressure buildup in the winter, and 40wt is a good oil for southern US states in summer.

| I guess if Eric hasn't had any issues in 10 years than the injection pump doesn't care about using a multi-weight oil either. I have been trying to change all my diesel engines over to Rotella 15w-40 and just have one oil on the place.Chris |
