Subject: 7040 Manuals? Parts?

I just hauled my 7040 home last night.  It needs a lot of work.
I need manuals, radiator, water pump, condenser, compressor & hoses, filters, several pieces of glass & gaskets for the cab, hinges and hardware for one side glass, center exhaust manifold, muffler etc.
The plan is to change filters, oil and fuel and see if it will run before buying all the other parts I know it needs.
Best place to get things in my list?  Ebay was suggested for the manuals.
Should it start without ether?  Is it just needed below a certain temperature?
Suggestions?
Are the sleeves thin enough that it needs anti cavitation additive in the coolant?
Is the Wix catalog accurate on the filters?
Thanks!

I support the development of hybrid automobiles and alternative fuels as I need DIESEL fuel for my ALLIS CHALMERS!

No ether until it's blowing smoke out the stack.

What is very, very little? 1/2 second spray?
Where do I get replacement cans? I'm guessing it's a factory system the way it is plumbed in.
Thanks!

According to my 7010 manual the factory system delivers a metered amount.

You can use the on line parts books at http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/partsbooksn/login.aspx?region=northamerica" rel="nofollow - AGCO Parts Books . Sign in as a guest user.

In the same box as the sign in you will see the link for AGCOpubs.com as well. Click on that link and it will take you to their store where you can purchase manuals.

I purchased a 185 with 500 loader from an older couple.  They had no idea where the manuals were.  Went to see Lyle Hunsley south of Waverly, IL.  Lyle's a former A-C dealer who has a shed  FULL  of parts & pieces.  He went to a filing cabinet & came back with a brand new manual for my 185.  Lyle's phone # is 217-691-8302.

Original manuals can be found cheap on e-bay.  For everything else, stay away from e-bay!
