Hmm, so electric 'smart cars' are NOT a high seller in cda/usa ! No wonder, with a lousy 60 (yes, SIXTY) mile range per charge !!
Guess the 'greenies' aren't buying into E-cars ??

I just do not get it, Tesla's are fire hazards, Prius and Leaf models are worthless as come to need a battery swap, these 'Smart Cars' are so dumb in that you have to be 5'4" tall and weigh 120 lbs to even get in one then cannot haul two sacks of grocery 30 miles home. J U N K JUNK!

Seems to me the presidentially inspired, former administration, GM Volt was or is only good for 40 miles per charge and they used to pay you to buy them. Unless I'm wrong it sounds like an improvement.

There is no economic advantage to buy them here as we have cheap gas. It would be another story if we were paying three times the price for each gallon of gas.

When it's all said and done, seems the "greenies" want to believe that all their electricity for these things ideally comes from renewables when in-fact it is only a small portion currently. All part of getting some to pay now, for eventual r&d that will make them more viable.
Wonder how many owners of these electric cars, or even the general public, realize that our tax dollars will increase so our emergency responders get the required equipment to properly address these vehicles when wrecked.
Then there is the "driver-less" cars/trucks being touted "as the future"; how many will be maimed/killed by these things when they go awry?
And we can't even stop the hacking and robocalls?
Big government claims they are understaffed to properly monitor/regulate new products like this as the pace of tech being introduced is too fast?
Some are left to "self regulate".
Makes you wonder if the driver-less units will have markings, so we even know we are on the road with them?

One of the guys at work owns one of them things. I always ask him how long he stays fresh in that can?.......
