Were Melroe plows owned by Allis?

I've seen mouldboards with the AC logo...

If I remember correctly, you could get most of different plow bottoms. Most fellas got what they liked or felt was the best ones to do a good job of plowing.

Last week I sold parts to a guy who had a Melroe Plow with John Deere Bottoms and one Oliver bottom, they were available with 390 or 387 A-C bottoms I beleive also

Some Melroe plows came with AC 387 bottoms, a lot of them came with the General Purpose Star bottom which I thought had some connection with White/Oliver.
