Put the draw bar on the CA yesterday as per the manual for the first time since I've had it.

Where it pins on underneath, is there supposed to be a bushing of some sort between the pin and clevis? I ask because it's real sloppy and seems like there should be.

Thanks.

Jared

None shown as a separate part in the parts book. The written description says clevis with bushing; for the clevis (Item 29) at the pin end of the drawbar. Someone might have a part number for the bushing. You might be able to have the clevis bored to true it up if it needs it and the bushing is gone. Then have a bushing made to fit.

Thanks, Jim! Thought there should be one there.

Ill look tomorrow at work to see what would work. Tons of bushings available. If something isn't quiet right it'll be a good government job for the machinist :)

TedJ gave me a pin hitch drawbar this winter, here is a picture. I can clean it up and measure it tonight, if you'd like.

Odds are you are missing the spacer tube in marks picture

Got it cleaned up. I originally thought it was brass, but now that I got the grease off it, it is steel. Its a little oblong, she's obviously pulled a few implements in her day.
