I was thinking last night, is it just my imagination or did someone once post photos here of a 7000 series tractor with 8000 series hood and grille?

Probably did, Norms book has all kinds of photos bout what AC engineering was working on , it has a 7000 series with an 8000 series cab, a whole different styling of sheetmetal all together, the 8095 tractor, 7000 series tractors being demolished, 6000 series prototypes ; they had good ideas, but no mooollllaaaaa when thet needed it

Yeah, that's not what i was thinking about.  I thought someone saved two tractors and blended them together.  Cab and drivetrain from 7000, sheet metal from 8000.

Yes I have read them both myself, very good!  He shows where the engineers were trying to break the spindles off the front axles of the tractors in the soft back book.
