Anybody have spray tanks mounted on front of a 7580. Seems the side frames are kinda of light to be hanging brackets and tanks on. Was wondering to go about it or if it was even possible.

Had a couple of farmer friends that had Walsh slim line fiberglass tanks on their 7580 and 8550's. They both had a sub frame that bolted to the power director housing. The saddle tank assembly then sat on the sub frame. Nothing attached to the tractors side plates. I think they were 400 gallon total capacity. Good Luck, Mike

Couldn’t you almost do 400 gallons off the 3pt. Agree the frame isn’t overly stout looking.

Back in the late 70's to early 80's had a set of 200 gallon tanks on a maroon 7580 . 400 gallons and we mounted rite to the side rails . Never gave any trouble at all . Also made a frame that mounted on the quick hitch that carried 200 gallons . It all worked good .
