In case you might have noticed I didnt pay much attention in English classes. Pain in the arse to type a post in word then transferr it here so I was going to try the spell checker on here, iespell or whatever it is. Went to download it from the site and I got all kinds of warnings like no certificate, are you sureyou want to do this? Are you REALY sure?? bla, bla, bla from my system. Far and beyond the usual warnings I get when downloading so I cancelled the download. The admin here at work gets kinda up tight when we down load system problems from the net. Anyone using the site spell checker? Just wanted to check before I clicked, "go ahead"

Butch, I had the same thing happen to me.  I did go to their site, then download and can now use on here and other sites as well.  It put the abc button on the windows bar and that works e very place I've tried, but the abc on the AC page doesn't work.  I don't use it as often as I should.  I tried it on face book and it worked there...really important there!  lol

Ditto on the Foxfire browser. This site works better with Foxfire anyway plus the spell check follows me anywhere I post.

the spell check download comes up with the warnings but it works fine, windows doesn't like anything that is not Microsoft.. Once downloaded you can use it on just about any application. You do not need a icon, once installed , just right click and in the drop down screen there will be a line that reads spell check. (2 lines will appear for spell check , use lower check spelling)

I have used it on Yahoo mail , hotmail, on here , on e-bay, and many other applications . that is if I remember I can't spell right and take the time to use it.

On this site do not click on the ABC check button as it will come up to download spell check. Use the right mouse button to get the drop down menu.  Learned that after getting frustrated in not being able to use spell check

I down loaded and installed it it works everywhere except this site. For some reason it don't work here. I'm sure its something I did but I don't care enough to fix it. Maybe later when I run out of other projects I'll check into the reason.
