Dad on a brand new D19 gasser 1963. First pic I ever took in my life! Brownie camera standing in the back of the 59 F100. I was 8. Dad was 38. It had a drinking problem and got traded for the first 190XTD in the county. What a difference! The tractor is about 3 days old here.

sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

My grandfather had a new D19 for one year. He had a four bottom semi mount plow and they could never get the the depth control to work right. When lowering the front would bury itself before the rear got to the corect depth. Dealer could not fix it so he traded it on a 190xt and six bottom plow. Thanks for posting as I enjoy seeing old original pics. Tom

Thanks for resizing the pic. I can see he is pulling a John Deere 110 chuckwagon. I have one in my collection. Tom

The neighbors had a D19 gas back in the day and they always said it would burn 60 to 70 gal of gas a day plowing.

My D19 makes a good haying tractor pulling a small square baler. Comfortable and quiet. Hydraulics are the worst.
