My 1982 AC 8030 seems to be running just fine, however, the Oil Pressure light is coming on when I start it and even while running.  Engine oil looks good and tractor operating as normal.  Wondering if it is possibly a bad oil pressure switch.  Does anyone know where this is on the tractor?
Also, anyone have a suggestion on a good place to purchase a replacement switch?  Tried finding one online and cannot seem to find one for an 8030.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Check the wires. Mine had a nick in the wire.

According to Agco parts catalog sensor is on the right side of block-one wire to it. Part number 70268784 (analog) or 70264849 (digital). I sometimes use a short nipple with a T and use both a sensor and a manual gauge. Call me paranoid but I don't trust these sensors with something as important as oil pressure.

Added a T and a gauge. Figured the light might catch my attention.

Ross, that’s my XT I posted last year after I installed the gauge. I also had a sending unit go bad while baling hay. The red light lit up and I feared the worst. Hauled her home on my goose neck. Ordered a new sending unit and thankfully that was my problem. Also ordered the gauge and components at the same time. It has been a great addition, gauge is easy to see and gives me the peace of mind that I was looking for. Still have the idiot light also.

Would like to add-be sure to use a copper line to gauge(as pictured.)Some of the auto parts store gauges come with a plastic line which can easily melt or break.

Thank you to everyone for your help and suggestions.  Found the switch and noticed it has a little oil leaking from it.  Not sure if that indicates anything serious or not.  It appears that it simply screws into the block.  Not sure how to tell if it is bad or not.  I unplugged and the light of course went off.  Plugged back in and light back on but everything seems to be running fine.  Trying to find where to purchase a new one to double check the switch.
