TomMN already posted some great pictures but I wanted to elaborate on the special guest at this years show. Eric Luebben flew in from California for the presentation that our very good friend Gary Agrimson was putting on with the narration from Gilbert Vust . Eric is the Great Grandson of Melchior Luebben who was Ummo's brother. Melchior filed the first patents of the round baler then after a failed business attempt left the baler completely where Ummo kept his faith building and perfecting the machine until he sold it to Allis-Chalmers.
Eric is a creme of the crop guy and is a wonderful person to visit with. Hopefully we will see him again soon!
Here are some other angles of his presentation.
Heres one of Eric with Gary standing to the right. Gary always puts everyone ahead of him but is the driving force to making these things happen.
I had to catch a snapshot of Eric visiting with Armand(AZ) and Lavern Grief.
Just as I was loaded and getting ready to leave Gary put Eric in the drivers seat and had him make some bales! I wonder how many years it had been since a Luebben had operated a round baler?
So, thanks again Eric, Gary and Gilbert for this wonderful experience and presentation. Jim

I'll second that, these driving forces behind the show really are what makes it happen.
More great pictures Jim!
