Went through some stuff this manual tells you everything from how to run a dealership and make money to what parts to order and how the outside should look how the inside should be set up and how to order parts and how to sell tractors. First time seeing one of these

I had the similar course , and taught some of the course once - didn't do a very good job evidently by the evidence that is left...

When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

I got a manual from New Holland a few years back. I was going to buy a Boomer until I couldn't find a NH dealer that was willing to return phone calls or emails.

Anyway I was at a dealer and when I asked for a brochure the parts guy grabbed it off the salesman's desk. I got home and looked at it and I couldn't believe what i was seeing.

It had all kinds of tactics of how to trick and deceive your customers. It was almost comical. Looking back now I'm really glad no one wanted to sell me a new New Holland.

Tbran, it resembles your dealership except for the offices on the other wall.

Maybe they should have concentrated on how to manage a company...

If I recall correctly, the new building my dad and uncle built in 1967 was 50' wide by 100' long.  The first 20' or so was dedicated to showroom with 3 offices along one side.  Next, for about another 20'-25' was the parts room with counter out front.  But the parts area was only about 30' wide so we could get stuff up to the showroom.
The last 50' + was the service area.  Had one 18' overhead door in the end of the building with another 12' overhead door on the side.
The building is still standing.  It's been converted to a used car garage.  I stopped by there a few years ago, but there is nothing left that's AC.  Other than the sludge pits in the service area, I couldn't hardly even tell it was the same building.  Memories.
