I took a trip to the Bahamas several years ago. The temp was 55 degees. All those people were running around with winter coats, caps with their ear flaps down. I'm walking around with a pair of shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Some guy walked up to me and ask "mon ain't you cold". I told him it was -30 in Iowa that day. His eyes got real big and he said"Mon you is crazy". I got a good laugh out of it. Besides I didn't know anyone down there had winter coats.

I was up town one evening several years ago when a car pulled into the gas station and out pops four girls and a guy... It was about 25 below and the girls had less than this gal has on... they sure made a bee line to get inside for their snack foods... wish I had a vid of them. The fella was dressed a whole lot warmer, and bet he wouldn't have lasted 20 minutes in the cold with what he had on. Kids.Confused All I could think of was what if they got stuck in the snow and if they had any extra clothes with just in case.  Ermm   LOL

Coworker on the way in this morning stopped for gas.  Idiot kid in the truck next to him jumps out in shorts, -14.  "Tough" guy would look real smart with a flat tire!  I had -20 this a.m.  Actually in my neck of the woods, we strangely missed the worst of it all like you guys west of here had.
