a loaded question !
'rebuilt' ..to what end ? All new sleeves, bearing, dist, carb,???
what was replaced..main bearings back to factory spec ?
'should' be worth 3X parts installed value, maybe..
a LOT depends on whether buyer NEEDS it
If it can be heard running...$1000 ??

I am in the process of doing a B engine (for my steel wheeled, war time B) right now, so I can give you some figures.
My prices:
Sleeve, piston & ring kit - $380
Complete gasket set - $60
Valve train kit - $110
Rod bearings - $65
Main bearings - $100
Shims (rods & mains) $50

There was also some shipping costs on most parts.

My crankshaft (out of a combine engine) miked out perfect with standard bearings, so I had no machining on it.

I don't have a price on just the machine work, since I sent a D-17 head at the same time, but I had the block, head and D-17 head hot tanked, the block decked, head and manifold resurfaced and new valve train installed with new seats, plus the work on the D-17 head and total machine work was $550.

I got all my parts from Jim Danforth at OK Tractor, except the valve assembly and sleeves, pistons and rings that I already had .

My guess is somewhere in the range of $1100, but again, my crankshaft didn't need machining, which saved me some money.

That's why I grabbed a C for $600, that was pretty rough, but the engine ran like a top.
