Does a PD out of a 7060 or 7080 go into a 7580? Unknown to me my 7580 was turned up to over 300 hp and since has had multiple issues.

Transmission should be the same. The Power Director clutch has more discs/plates in it on a 7580.

I would check a parts book. I have noticed some gears had changes in the lube system on the early 7000 series to the later. Stuff like oil holes, groves or notches.

I had my suspicions it was a bit stronger than it should but not that bad.

7580 transmissions are taxed to the max at 185 PTO HP, let alone any more than that. I've worked on two that have taken teeth off of the high range input gears. The tractor weighs a lot and has plenty of rubber on the ground and the tranny gets put under a lot of pressure that a 2wd tractor never sees.

Currently only have high range no low range.

Twisted off low range input shaft I suspect.
That's assuming the Power Director clutch isn't the issue.
