D grader 1952 Ser # D 1547.  Has a Zenith Carb I have not been able to identify. Numbers on small round tag as follows: 22825,  directly opposite, 115?8. The question mark is because I cannot determine the number. It appears to be a 6 but not sure.

Carb should be same as wd/wd 45 ag tractor uses. I have the scarifier, on mine, but its too damn cold right now to measure it up for you.  You might wanna get yourself a manual, for it, I know Jensales sells 'em, they are a poor excuse for a manual (poor copy re-print), but easy to find there. Once you have a manual, its easy to see the measurements you will need.  Its not a full width scarifier, basically about 3-3/12" wide, 6-7 shanks, suitable for ripping up the center weedy section of a 2 track road...Wink

The 8 in the 22825 doesn't look quite the same as the 8 in the other number. Could the number be a 6? Could the number you can't make out be an 8?
226257 would match to a Zenith carb with a production number of 11588, used on AC's, according to a list on Norfar's industrial carb website.
