1st of all, I am looking for a couple of fuel tank caps for a 190 for a friend of mine. He's had a run of losing them, then taking them off other tractors not in use, and now needs to replace them. Hoping to find some used ones, cause he priced them out at the agco dealer, and they're kind a spendy to sprinkle around the fields. 2nd thing, I need to go through the brakes on my 190 XT, and re-line all of the discs and bands. Does anyone put together a kit that has all of the linings and rivets for one whole side, or do they need to be pieced together part by part? Local agco dealer wanted over 200 bucks just for one lining and rivets for one disc. Can't hardly be true, can it, cause that would make it over 800 bucks just to do the discs alone. Any ideas for something more affordable would be welcomed. TIA, Darrel

I haven't had to deal with this personally, but have you tried a local clutch shop to see if they can reline them? Often they can get you better materials too (or atleast materials from suppliers they personally know have a good track record). It should cost you a lot less than that too.

Hey Darrel, try A&I products out of Rock Valley IA. They have lots of distributors out there. I dont remember what it cost me a few years ago but it was no were near that money. Also I am looking at the Runnings catolog and they are $56 a disc for a kit.

wouldn't suprise me what agco asked for parts! I priced a seal kit for the power steering ram on a 7060, $300 aus($270 US).

Go to Yesterdaystractor .com ; they got it all , you may check Ebay for the fuel caps they get pretty cheap there

JPG, if that steering ram is like the one on my 7000's HD front end, AGCO may be the only place to get the piston seal inside the ram, as it's an odd ball size. I took it the hydraulic seal place here and he had nothing like it in stock and didn't have anything exactly like it in his catalog. It was the teflon seal that was the problem finding a generic replacement for.

Hurst your right it is an oddball size 2.025 inch piston rod,so I got a 2'' seal the same and took a wisker off it in the lathe.The outside scraper was harder to modify to fit,the only one I could buy was a lot fatter than the allis original.any way it all seems to work ok,no leaks now.

You must have the piston with the fat piston rod. I saw a 7030 in a junk yard with that. My 7000's HD front end (the same front end as the 7010 and up) has the thinner rod (I think it was an inch or inch in diameter, but can't remember). I had no trouble finding the parts for the rod wiper and seal, but had problems with the packing on the aluminum piece inside the cylinder. All I could find was something that was almost double the size, so I would have had to widen the groove quite a bit in a lathe to make it work. I didn't realize that the cylinders with the fatter piston rod had even more odd ball seal sizes.
