Think I messed up Thanksgiving afternoon. My bride doesn't particularly like coffee and I like mine strong and black with nothing added but being a nice husband I fixed her a cup of Dunkin' Donuts hazelnut flavored coffee with plenty of creamer, raw sugar, and topped with Kool Whip. Now she wants me to fix her a cup (or two) every afternoon. Got a pot brewing now.

I’ve been seeing that Dunkin’ Donuts coffee at the store. I was wondering if it’s any good? I like strong rich coffee as well. I use a splash of half n half. Jenn doesn’t drink coffee often either but at the holidays she makes homemade salted caramel creamer and cinnamon vanella. It pains me to admit this but I’ve taken a liking to both and if she wants me to fix her one I’m on it.

I think that you are older than me, and together for some time? I was a slow learner in some things, took about 25 plus years to say YES DEAR! lol I bet ya won't get and sent your bride back for a refund>>

If you start out soft, you will always be cowtowing to the woman! establish who is boss up front! If you make the mistake our dear buddy Hubert did.....well you just cannot recover! Be the boss and don't be afraid to say so....although, I have found over the years, it is far less painful to say so from a fair distance and when the dear woman is sleeping!

DD is one of the brands I have used to spruce up the regular name brands. Everyone knows how they have shrunk the container sizes while still raising coffee prices over the years but I swear coffee is not as strong as it used to be. I switch brands around that add a bit of "bite" but a fella can only take so many days in a row of Community Coffee. Great stuff as it sure gives a kick but I change it up for variety. Went looking for a percolator type coffee maker a while back and sure enough, Wally World has em' online. Was in the store last week and they are now on the shelf, attendant stating more and more folks have asked for them the last couple of years. Makes it hell for stout, not like the crappy "automatic coffee makers" where your pot is "ready" in 3-5 minutes after dribbling it over the grounds just once. I'll wait 12, same amount sure makes it stronger.

when I goes to town at 0430 in the mornings for coffee, it matters where we go, some places serve the nastiest coffee and some places serve really good coffee. best we've found so far is a a gas station, the serve "HOST" brand coffee!

Bought some house brand Sam's Club 100% Colombian Arabica coffee and this can has to be worst tasting I have bought in a long time - bitter . So now a tablespoon of Swiss Miss chocolate drink mixed in at least makes it smooth enough to cross the pallet .
------------- Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Shameless, you don't need to go out in the cold to ride. You and the missus can play "ride em cowboy" right there in the heated comfort of your home. I thought you of all people, would know that. Gheez, gots to teach you everything....? Darrel
