I have a 1968 HB112 and I need to remove the front wheel. There is a metal hub in the center of the wheel. How do I remove this? Does it unscrew or do I need to pop it off somehow? Any help would be appreciated.

the cap is pushed in to the wheel center. tap it side to side to work it out or use a large pair of pliers and work it side to side and pull at same time.

Then when you get the cap off there's a collar with a set screw in it holding wheel bearings. Takes alen wrench to get set screw

That's good to know.  The parts diagrams I was findind did not explain how to pull it all apart and I do not want to presume and start breaking stuff

Just make sure when you put the collar back on, you completely tighten it with the allen wrench - I would guess you know how I found out mine wasn't tight enough after using tractor for a while!
