That is a big cat! Last one I saw was several years back, came by my deer stand in broad daylight, he didn't make it far.

Back in the '80's I was baling hay late one night on a rented farm saw a cat sitting on a bale in the last row I'd baled, thought it was the land owners cat, although the farm house was half a mile away. Got closer, that's a big cat! Got closer, that's not Sylvia's cat, got closer, it stood up, jumped off the bale and ran out of sight. Realized it was a Bobcat, only one I've ever seen.

I watched 4 bobcats walk down a creek bed 3 years ago bow hunting . First one was a little larger than the last 3 . Mom and her 3 youngins . A customer of mine that traps got a permit and caught a large one last year. Permit requires contacting DNR after getting one. They came and did an examination, gutted it and found stomach full of squirrel remains. Guess that is their diet, unless a chicken coop is close.

My son spotted this Big Male Texas Size Bobcat watching his flock of free range chickens. Had time to get his 22mag out of the house and popped him.
Biggest one the Taxidermist said he ever skinnned

He got the hide Tanned. It's real soft and smells like a new pair of leather gloves. Having it mounted or made into a rug to hang on the wall costs a fortune. Especially a full body mount.

ANY mounts now a days.... Yep, that's a big puddy tat..... I've never actually seen one, which is a good thing.... But I have seen several mountain lions around the farm. Now THEY are scary,,,,,,unless you have a gun. And they're illegal to shoot,,,,,,unless you fear for your life or someone elses......... and I'm always afraid....

Well,,I got one we never figured out how it got in,,,,,,,,, Back then after the big flood in the mid 1950's ,,,us kids could hear some rustling up in the attic every night,,,sure was spooky and caused some runaways,,,,, Well Mom finally told Dad he was gonna have to do something. He cut a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen and we waited,,we heard it walk up to the hole but would not come out,,next night same thing but 3rd night it finally showed its head and it was a BIG racoon and Dad put it away with the .22,,, That sob howled and spit and howled til it died, scared the chit out of all of us too,,!! Never did figure out how in the heck it got in there,,,

A Bobcat or a Mountain Lion Tim ? Some people around here with real imaginations claim to have seen a BLACK PANTHER stalking their cows. The only black panthers around here are the 2 legged kind

It was a bobcat Ken, still scared the hell outta me and he scooted out the man door of the shop. We have big cats around here and just down the road mile and a half they caught a mountain lion taking goats, chickens and family dog. Unfortunately, they did not know what it was until cameras put up just before it took the dog so goat on lease pasture I use is worth the smell in my opinion. Maybe cat will take the goat before any calves.
They have reportedly been finding bones up in trees in this area for years but only other sighting is big cat taking a dump in the middle of the Glen Rose high school football field in the middle of the night, caught on surveillance camera about five years ago. Seen one in WY years ago when headed down rig road going to work near LaBarge, best viewed with binoculars in my opinion, or thru a good scope . . . .

Had one walk within 30' of me sitting in a turkey blind during deer season many years back, knew I was there, was not certain what was gonna do, ME or IT, a deer bolted and it chased off after that. I got up went back to camp!!
