Well on Sunday added another year onto this thing we call LIFE
Often wonder how one manages to keep adding them numbers onto ones age but got 75 of them there now .
Still keeping my CDL up to date and wonder if that is a good idea as it seems somehow the driving jobs keep coming up and I am foolish enough to say yes.
So after driving tandem dump for last month - tomorrow get to switch to tractor trailer end dump - going from 10/12 yard to 20/25 yard trucking .
Keep telling these guys I am RETIRED and they keep saying it's only for a couple days - but this job is for 3 weeks or so .

Happy Birthday there Coke.  Congrats on making to 75.

If you are serious about being retired, then let the CDL lapse, then you have an excuse when they want you to drive again.  I'm guessing that the reason you haven't let it lapse is that it gives you an excuse to keep going.  Nothing wrong with that!

Happy Birthday Coke.  You know, if you weren't driving a truck, what would you be doing?  Probably just lazing around and playing with your bikes or tractors or some other toy.... humm, why are you working???  LOL

I'll be hitting the big Seven O on Saturday, hope things don't change much on Sunday!

Happy Birthday, Coke! Hope you had a blessed day and many more to come. Keep up that CDL and keep on staying young. Just drive when you want to and tell them it is going to cost them to get a professional, experienced driver.

Well herding a end dump trailer around city streets today - residential areas .
Hauled 3 loads - seems they are short trucks for this job also and couple more needed but managed .
Person whop took over the tandem dump I was driving could not figure out how to get the box up - dang PTO cable hits side of seat - need to air seat up to clear PTO or pull real hard - Ah Yes a trick to every job and one learns them all - generally the hard way
