I had a slime of oil and anti-freeze on the underside of the hood of my B. I thought it was a head gasket as there was oil in the #2 and 3 pistons. I replaced the head gasket and it was working fine for a couple days. Now it's back to slime under the hood again. I was thinking it might be that the soft plugs were rusted out on the top of the head but they are brass. I don't think brass rusts. There is cracks in the block between the sleeves. I have been told that really doesn't matter because the fire ring will seal the piston cylinder and the fiber will seal the head. I am hoping the block isn't cracked down further.

Here is a brass core plug I found with a hole in it.

I really truly hope I can find a hole in a soft plug. It's clean green anti-freeze on the soft plug. I don't want to have to pull the head again.

You could drain juice and replace plugs just to eliminate them as the problem....
