I haven't had to put air in the rear tires in the 16 years I have had it. Went out to use it about a month ago and it flat. Took the air compressor out and blew it up and the next morning it was flat again. I Blew it up again and got my spray bottle with soap water in and sprayed it down. The only place I could get bubbles was from around the valve stem at the rim. No nails in the tire any where and no visible puncher marks. I decided after lunch today I would attempt pull the inter tube out and get it patched if I could anymore. I set up my video camera to prove I was attempting to do it from my wheel chair. When I had the bead over the rim on the outer side of the rim I needed a rest and when I went to shut off the camera it had gone dead. I went ahead and broke the bead in on the other side and pulled the tube out. I blew it up and sprayed it good with soap water and can't get one bubble anywhere. I then blew it up fat and still could not find a leak. I put it in the shed and will check it in the morning. If it is down I'll take it to a tire shop. Then have a tub they can submerge a section under water and find it. At least I proved to myself I can still change tractor tires at 80 even though I have to do it setting down. I might do a video putting it back in. You have my admiration and respect for being willing much less accomplishing removing a tire. Did a trailer tire the other day about did me in, and I'm 71.

| The camera was not dead. when I checked it I had video of me bringing the camera all the way to the charger. It is uploading now. |

Dick L You is one tough 80 year old . I'm just 2 years behind you . I Still get around pretty good since my cancer is remission thanks to KETRUDA. Getting ready to go pullin my CA at The LA State Fair ,Shreveport on Oct 26&27th. Yesterday I made a mid tractor bracket to hang suitcase weights on . If I can beg borrow or steal another 500 pounds or so hang on weights I can pull three classes. 2500, 3000 & 3500. If they only allow 2 hooks I will skip the 2500 class. No competition down there for my CA. No way am I gong to break down a rear tractor tire. Just getting on and of my CA is hard enough at these 2 day Tractor Pulls

I must say Dick that the tire wasn't stuck on as bad as I would have thought after 16 years!! What kind of a screw driver are you pounding on?  How come you didn't show the first part,,,,,getting the tire over the rim at first?? Too much swearin going on??  ------------- "Allis-Express" 19?? | yep...yer lots tougher than me too! I have 2 rear flats on my 190XT right now. dunno what I hit but they both bit it! the tire company can't get to it until it either dries sum or freezes up sum! i'm not even gonna attempt them! |

The first was the hardest. I got that far and thought to myself! Myself You gotta tell people you actually are getting this tire off and aint on one gonna believe you did it from the chair. So myself went in and grabbed the camera and tri pod. Myself was wondering if the battery was still up. No swearing though. I laid that down somewhere years back and never found it. |

Dick, Great video of you talking the tire off the rim. Thanks for taking the time to post it. I am a lot younger and I still don't do these jobs. I let the young guys at the tire shop. I have alot of respect for you Dick L. Hope to do what you do at 80. Would you mind sharing how you broke the bead at first? ------------- Everything is impossible until someone does it! I pushed the bead in to where I could get the tire iron in with the loader bucket. Then used the big screwdriver the same as in the video to pry the bead in only it took more turns of the rim. I didn't keep track of the time. The tire iron was to long to work it from the chair. I am not strong enough to push the tire iron or the screwdriver with my hands. It didn't drop off the ledge until starting the second time around. I am not strong enough to use two tire irons or hold one while prying with the screwdriver at the same time. The start of the video I had the tire iron tied to the wheel to keep the bead over the outer edge of the rim. I didn't even think of the camera until I had to tie the tire iron fast to hold the bead over the rim. |

| I spent 22 years fixing rears. Do yourself a huge favor, if no one can find a hole in your tube, put a new one in the tire. First wrap a rag around your hand and wipe the inside of the tire down first. If it catches on anything, ck it out real well. I have had tubes that have ghost leaked in them. That is you can't find a leak, even using good leak detector, but it will be completely flat the next morning if you put it back in a tire. I aired up a tube with one of these ghost leaks, hung it on a 2X4 in the back room. It stayd up for 4 months, I put it back in a tire and it was flat the next morning. Good luck with her. |

| I have had too many of the same experiences as HD6GTom and I agree with him. I inflate the flat and check the valve core for leaking. If no sign of a leak there, the tube comes out. I inflate the tubes and check with soapy water. If I don't find a definite hole to patch on the tube, the tire gets a new tube. It would cost me more to take a tube to a tire shop to be submerged and checked/patched; than a new tube costs. In every case the tire gets a good internal inspection and cleaning. |
