Someone on Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club web site Is advertising a Plymouth locomotive  with a Caterpillar engine. He claims his father bought it at a sale at the Springfield  Ill. AC factory. No pictures,so you can see his whole add as a guest.

I would fix you up with a link but my skill is about the same as other misfits around these parts.LOL


But the for sale has not been to busy, so not far from the top of the page and look for Plymouth in the title.

it looked something like this .......... used to move rail road cars of parts / steel / scrap around the yard.

most of them old Plymouth engines were gassers. a few were diesel, I think if this has a Cat motor in it, it's been re-powered.
