I need some help here...The WD has a rebuilt carb...new auto type in-line filter...and nothing in the gas tank to block fuel. Gas runs easily out the end at carb ..no blockage.
Turns over fast and goes "PUTT" and that's it. Can do this for 15 minutes...same "putt".
Use ether..get 2 "putts". No start. Move throttle from slow to fast and back at different start attempts. Will putt putt best at no or very little throttle. No start.
So I removed the carb...dissasembled completely clearing all ports and needle seats with compressed air. Put back on and she roared to life first attempt.
Now the weird part. (Sorry this is taking so long)
Work the tractor for an hour. Idle, heavy pulls, climb steep drive in high gear....all running GREAT! Well, I solved the problem..so I thought. Put Wd in shop.
One week later...today....same senario as this story starts at again only THIS time it won't start even after I took carb apart as before. No sediment/dirt in bottom of bowl..bowl full of gas....
Needles all set at recommend plus 1/4 turn cos that gives engine better lugging power.
What's going on? I even cussed at her a few times...I'm getting impatient I guess...Sorry Allis.

To head off any advice on in-line filter I read on a post further down this line on the B... I used a small (1-1/4 x 2") steel cylindrical in-line filter on the steel line and it all flows by gravity to carb. Gas does flow easy to carb....

Does your carb have the brass inlet fitting with the screen on it?  Are the plugs wet or dry when it won't start?  I have all kinds of problems with points in one tractor, have to give it a couple of swipes with a point file if I let it set very long.
