I'll bet that is cheap dark gray paint peeling off the original Orange. Does look camo though

Hmm, I blieve that is a CA gentamen. Might well be worth a look. Little sandblasting, maybe even just a really good pressure-washing, abd I bet most of that grey would be gone. Has spin-out rims, Monroe seat, and what appears  to be the lift arms on back. Steering linkage looks a little CA-ish too. $1,000.00 is a pretty good price for a running CA round here.

Yah, it's got a lot going for it, and since we're pointing out details - if the other rear tire has as much tread as the one in the foreground - well, right there is several hundred "bucks" worth.

Plus, since they're reversed, the leading edge ought to be nice and sharp for pulling!

Picture ain't too good but those aren't spin outs IMO and wheel disc looks like C to me plus no holes in front cowling.
